The gallery is located in Östra Karup, a village located on the Bjäre Peninsula in southern Sweden. Established in 1998, the gallery occupies a historic 400-year-old mill building, which has been carefully renovated and extended to accommodate its exhibition spaces. The gallery’s annual program, which spans from April to November, presents a diverse range of contemporary art, featuring both renowned Nordic artists and emerging talents. The sculpture garden, located outside the gallery, adds to the visitor experience by providing a lively outdoor space for art, making it a popular attraction on its own.
